INTRA 50 is an inductive transmission system developed for automatic sliding gates. It provides safe monitoring of the safety edges, mounted on both the moving and fixed part of the gate. The system works by inducing the signals from the moving safety edges in a steel cable by means of a converter and passing them via a coil to the switching device. Stationary safety edges are connected directly to the switching device. INTRA 50 solves wear and tear problems, commonly encountered with conventional cable solutions and the INTRA 50 meets the requirements of safety category 3 acc. to EN954-1.
