The Herkules 2 microwave motion detector has been specifically developed for use with industrial doors. It detects, differentiates between or masks out people or vehicles and can switch the output relays separately, depending on the requirement. Herkules 2 is a logical further refinement of Bircher's successful microwave detectors that are also used for automatic doors. Their wealth of experience, combined with progressive planar technology, gives Herkules 2 a considerable range of functions and reliability.

The Herkules 2 prevents unwanted opening by masking out crossing traffic and is suitable for a wide range of applications and for almost all heights of industrial doors thanks to it's detection height of 2 to 7 metres. This intelligent sensor can differentiation between or mask people and vehicles, it is straightforward to configuration and initialise thanks to the internal programming switches or Reglobeam remote control. It can be set to function with different industrial door controllers and features variable detection areas suitable for any application. All this in a shockproof aluminium IP65 housing.

Reglobeam

The Reglobeam bidirectional remote control allows the Herkules 2 to be configured quickly and completely from ground level, and every single parameter can be adapted to the particular situation. The Reglobeam is also used with many of our other detectors.
